Piyush Bhardwaj of CoInvestment Partners along with executives from Vanke, Grosvenor and GLL Partners discussed appetite of Middle Eastern, European and Chinese investors for U.S. real estate. Mr. Bhardwaj, whose firm focuses on hundreds of Middle Eastern investors highlighted that investors from the Gulf are moving up the risk spectrum and are also keen towards niche-strategies. He also relayed that:

  1. investor perspective is improving towards secondary markets,
  2. there is a lack of Shariah compliant products, and
  3. that appetite for U.S. real estate among ME investors will continue to grow.
